Welcome to Pinup Jordan’s Mermaid Lounge! Here at the Lounge, we want to create a fun, relaxing and professional atmosphere for all of our clients and stylists! In order to provide you with the highest quality, most consistent service, we ask all of our clients to read over and Client Policies. Thank you and have a great hair day!

CHILD SAFETY POLICY
Children are only permitted in the salon or spa area when having a service. For safety reasons and insurance purposes, no child under the age of 12 may accompany you while you are having a service. We do not have the facilities to care for children. We love children, and we hope you understand, we cannot assure their safety in a professional environment. We work in an environment that has sharp scissors, razors, chemicals, and hot curling and flat irons.  If something were to happen to your child, it would not only be devastating to you and your family, it would be equally as devastating to us. We also do not want to compromise the relaxation of our guests. Should your child accompany you to your appointment, we respectfully must reschedule your appointment. YOUR UNDERSTANDING IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.


Boyfriends, husbands and and friends also fall under this umbrella. We do not have the facilities to care for boyfriends. We love boyfriends, but they hate sitting there while you get your hair done, and so do we.


LATE GUEST POLICY
We understand "life happens". If for any reason you are expecting to be late by 10 minutes or more to your scheduled appointment, please call us! (518) 381-9000 or contact your stylist directly.

We work very hard to schedule the right amount of time for each service.  Accommodating late guests is often impossible without disrupting every other guest scheduled that day.  Please be aware in the unfortunate event you are late, we cannot guarantee that your services will be performed that day. Tardiness may require working within the time constraints of the originally scheduled appointment time or rescheduling your appointment for another day.


CANCELLATION POLICY
If you must cancel, please let us know as soon as possible, preferably 48 hours ahead of time. Cancellations with 24 hours or less are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. When you reserve an appointment with us, we reserve that time and make that time slot exclusively yours. A missed appointment means loss of availability for other clients. However, we do realize circumstances occasionally arise which are completely out of one’s control, and we truly understand. If you arrive late to your appointment you can either have your service in the time remaining or reschedule. All cancellations must be made by contacting your stylist directly.

In order to best accommodate our guests, after three cancelled appointments, we are unfortunately unable to make appointments for you. “No showing” any appointment will remove you from the client list.



JEWELRY & PERSONAL ITEMS
We regret that we cannot be responsible for loss or damage to personal articles, including clothing, jewelry and accessories. Please leave jewelry at home, and keep any valuable items with you during your service.

Please advise our staff of any allergies or sensitivities you may have.


PRICING
The price list is available for your convenience at the front desk. Pricing is at the discretion of each individual stylist and is subject to change based on time, technique and amount of product used. Consultations are highly encouraged to best understand the time and financial commitment. All services must be paid for at the time of completion. 

Hair dressing is a form of artistic expression. At Pinup Jordan’s Mermaid Lounge, we celebrate the creativity and individuality of our stylists…they are committed to their art as well as serving you. Each stylist is a booth renter and independent contractor. This means they handle their own pricing, products, appointments, services and clients. Due to the artistic nature of what we do, we cannot offer refunds on services performed. However, we will work tirelessly to ensure your satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with the services provided, please contact your stylist directly within 7 days. Color services cannot be guaranteed without purchasing professional product directly from your stylist on the day of your appointment. 

Gift certificates or gift cards can not be redeemed for cash and all sales are final.
